We have just added this new MMORPG to our game list.  This is another Korean import - however this one has a bit of a fresh face. Maple Story mesos. It features a 2D side-scrolling style of game play (a la Super Mario Bros) and some very nicely done background scenes.  It is currently in open beta and free to play - so you might want to give it a shot.
